1.3  Subject Pronouns and Nouns


           EXAMPLES                                      EXPLANATION

            GRAMMAR IN USE
            In conversation, you sometimes hear sentences like “Me and my friend are from Mexico.” This is common but not
            correct. Me is not a subject pronoun. The correct sentence is “My friend and I are from Mexico.”


           EXERCISE 6  Fill in the blanks with the correct subject pronoun.
